- check_circleAssess resident cardiopulmonary status and formulate respiratory care plans
- check_circleAdminister prescribed respiratory therapies and aerosolized medications
- check_circlePerform airway care, suctioning, and chest physical therapy modalities
- check_circleParticipate in emergency CPR and interdisciplinary care rounds
- check_circleTrain residents, families, and staff on respiratory procedures and equipment
- check_circleInitiate, monitor, and maintain life support systems and mechanical ventilators
- check_circleTroubleshoot, clean, and maintain respiratory equipment and supplies
- check_circleDocument patient progress, adverse reactions, and therapy responses accurately
Requirements
- verifiedCompletion of NBRC approved and accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- verifiedOne year of clinical practice experience under medical direction
- verifiedCurrent Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
