As the Occupational Therapist in Home Health, you will be responsible for assessment and evaluation of patient care needs related to functional status, activities of daily living, fine motor coordination, home assessments, and adaptive equipment. You will provide service within the scope of practice as defined by state laws, using evidence-based techniques in coordination with other members of the health care team. Your role involves evaluating the patient's functional status and occupational therapy needs, consulting with physicians to develop therapy plans of care, and observing, recording, and reporting patient responses to treatment.
