The Mount Sinai Health System seeks an Obstetrics and Gynecology System Medical Director for its Ambulatory Services. In this role, you will partner with world-renowned faculty at the Icahn School of Medicine to ensure the full alignment of Obstetrical Care provided to patients across every site in our OBGYN Health System.
You will serve as a key leader in compliance and quality, ensuring adherence to NYS Prenatal Care Regulations and Medicare Teaching Physicians rules regarding the supervisory role of the attending for all teaching cases. The position involves overseeing and managing a Performance Improvement program, including metrics for Quality Improvement that mimic established workflows at Mount Sinai Hospital. Additionally, you will ensure adherence to scope of practice guidelines and competency metrics for all obstetrical providers, including physicians, midwives, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners, while partnering with residency and fellowship program directors to meet educational goals.
