Women's Healthcare Associates (WHA) is Oregon's largest independent women's health group and is 100% clinician-owned. Across 12 clinic locations and six hospitals in the Portland metro region, we care for more than 50,000 individuals each year. Our teams include OB/GYN physicians, certified nurse-midwives, nurse practitioners, behavioral health clinicians, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, and urogynecologists, all supported by strong operational staff to ensure clinical excellence.
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN to join our Oregon City office, a team known for surgical strength, a collaborative culture, and a shared commitment to meaningful, accessible care. This role is designed for a physician who wants to practice full-scope OB/GYN in a supportive environment where they can truly grow their voice and skills.
In Oregon City, you will join a close-knit team of seven OB/GYNs and seven CNMs. The practice model is distinct: midwives manage most low- and moderate-risk OB care, allowing physicians to focus on surgical skill development while maintaining a full-scope practice. You will have the opportunity to operate early, supported by dedicated surgical block time, OR mentorship, and a collaborative model where you play an active role in shaping organizational decisions, from advanced surgical technology to in-office procedures.
The patient population is socioeconomically diverse and often medically complex, including rural patients, incarcerated individuals, and home birth transfers, ensuring your work has a real impact. Additionally, the hospital is investing in the da Vinci V robotic platform, offering continued growth in minimally invasive GYN surgery.
Oregon City blends small-town warmth with access to everything Portland offers, featuring great neighborhoods, strong schools, and endless opportunities for outdoor activities. Many of our clinicians live in Oregon City, Lake Oswego, or West Linn, appreciating the balance of community and proximity. Here, relationships matter—both between colleagues and with patients.
We understand that the transition from residency to practice is significant. In Oregon City, you won't navigate it alone. New physicians are paired with a dedicated mentor during their first year and have access to real-time consults from experienced partners. Optional journal clubs and peer cohort gatherings provide connection and shared learning, ensuring you grow with support, confidence, and colleagues who want you to succeed.
If you are looking for a practice where you can grow meaningfully and feel genuinely backed by your team, we would love to connect. Please submit your application materials, including specific dates of positions, skills, and educational experiences, to ensure your offer reflects all directly related and equivalent experience.
Women's Healthcare Associates, LLC is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to a culture of Service, Diversity, Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, Belonging, and Wellbeing.
