About the Team

Banner University Medical Center Phoenix invites applications for faculty within the Division of Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The Division is currently experiencing a period of significant clinical and academic growth under the leadership of Dr. Olivia Cardenas-Trowers, a recognized leader in gynecologic surgery and translational research.

The Department, led by Dr. Rosanne Kho, hosts a robust academic environment including 36 residents, 3 Maternal Fetal Medicine fellows, 2 Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery fellows, and 1 Addiction Medicine fellow. Faculty provide clinical services and mentor trainees across Banner-University Medical Center (Phoenix), Scottsdale, Arcadia Clinic, and other Banner facilities. The Division is actively expanding, with plans to launch a Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery fellowship within the next 2-3 years.

About the Role

This is an opportunity for an outstanding academic clinician interested in building distinctive clinical programs and contributing to the academic mission of the Department. We are seeking an excellent board-certified or board-eligible, fellowship-trained Urogynecologist and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgeon to join our academic practice. This role offers the chance to collaborate with colleagues both inside and outside the Division to inspire system-wide partnerships.

The successful candidate will manage the full spectrum of female pelvic floor disorders and perform urogynecologic and gynecologic surgery. A key component of the position involves providing high-quality residency and fellowship teaching in both outpatient and inpatient settings. The role requires a strong advocate who can balance clinical, academic, and educational missions while initiating and contributing to clinical and research programs through innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration. Please note that this position does not include obstetrical coverage.
