About the Team

The Women's Health Service Line at Corewell Health is dedicated to providing comprehensive gynecological care to the Grand Rapids community. Located on Grand Rapids' Medical Mile, Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital serves as a Level I Trauma Center and the flagship hospital for Corewell Health Grand Rapids Hospitals. As a nationally recognized leader in patient quality and safety, the hospital offers a full complement of adult medical and surgical subspecialists, including the only Regional Burn Center in West Michigan.

This role exists to expand access to high-quality gynecological services with a specific focus on midlife and menopause care. The position fosters an environment of academic excellence through collaboration with 32 OBGYN residents and a skilled team of physicians and advanced practice providers.

About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Gynecologic Physician (Generalist or Minimally Invasive Gynecologist) to join our team. You will provide full-spectrum surgical care, including robotic, laparoscopic, hysteroscopic, and infrequent laparotomy procedures across outpatient, inpatient, and office settings. The role involves managing both major and minor surgical cases, with major surgeries performed in our outpatient surgery center featuring a robust same-day discharge program or at Butterworth Hospital.

In addition to clinical duties, you will be expected to provide medical and surgical teaching to residents. The position includes unrestricted back-up GYN call (planned at a frequency of 1 in 7) and weekend rounding when on call. While OB/GYN and Gyn Surgery experience is preferred, the role requires certification through the Menopause Society if not already held.
