About the Team
Ochsner Rush Medical Center in Meridian is part of Rush Health Systems, a network comprising seven hospitals and over 50 specialty and primary care practices serving East Central Mississippi and West Alabama. Founded in 1915, the 215-bed Rush Foundation Hospital is home to the Family Birth Center, one of the first of its kind in the state. The facility features a recently renovated labor and delivery unit with 18 suites designed for a single-room birthing experience, midwifery services, and a modern 12-bed NICU, currently supporting approximately 1,000 annual deliveries.
About the Role
This opportunity involves working collaboratively with local obstetricians to ensure that every pregnant woman presenting to the hospital is cared for by an experienced physician. As a clinician-centered company, OBHG seeks OB/GYNs with exceptional clinical and communication skills, a passion for healthcare quality improvement, and a desire to shape the future of the specialty.
As a Hospitalist, you will enjoy superior work/life balance with the freedom to create your own schedule. The typical arrangement consists of seven 24-hour shifts per month, offering approximately 21 days off, with no on-call duty or office management responsibilities.
