About the Role

Join our Aiken team as an Emergency Medicine Physician in a role designed for you. We believe in bringing "better" to our local community in Aiken—better care, better collaboration, and a deep commitment to the people we serve. This position is ideal for those looking for a role that supports professional growth and connection to a vibrant community.

You will provide coverage for Aiken Regional Medical Center's 30-bed emergency department and the newly built 10-bed free-standing emergency department at Sweetwater in North Augusta, South Carolina. Working within a 273-bed community hospital certified as a chest pain and stroke center, you will manage all aspects of community emergency medicine, collaborating closely with colleagues and consultants.

You will work alongside a friendly and cohesive team of 16 physicians and 9 APPs. The role offers opportunities to engage in hospital committees, including credentials, medical executive, sepsis, peer review, and citizenship committees, allowing you to contribute meaningfully to the organization's success. Scheduling is flexible, with opportunities for both part-time and full-time roles to accommodate your professional and personal needs.
