We pride ourselves on a robust clinical team that incorporates Advanced Practice Clinicians, Registered Nurses, Clinical Assistants, Pharm Ds, Behavioral Health Specialists, and General Surgery Outreach. The clinic is attached to a 16-bed critical access hospital with an emergency department, a 33-bed nursing home, and a swing bed/transitional care unit. ER providers are available 24/7, supported by a tele-hospitalist and APP model for inpatient care.
About the Role
This position is for a Family Medicine Physician (Board Certified/Board Eligible) with no obstetrics responsibilities. You will join an established practice in Aurora, MN, serving a service area population of over 8,000 residents across Aurora, Biwabik, and Hoyt Lakes. The role offers a flexible schedule, ranging from 0.6 to 1.0 FTE, with a typical 4.5-day work week (8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday). There is no call requirement.
You will work in a newer clinic with your own office, utilizing the EPIC electronic medical record system. The practice provides comprehensive on-site services including a lab, radiology, physical therapy, hospital pharmacy, cardiac rehab, X-ray, and CT scan. While primarily an outpatient practice, there is an optional inpatient component available. The environment is ideal for a positive, energetic, and team-focused physician with a passion for small-town care.

Located in Aurora, MN, the clinic is situated 30 minutes east of Virginia, MN, and one hour north of Duluth, MN. The area offers a high quality of life, with less than 10 minutes to lakes and the Giants Ridge golf and ski resort.
