About the Role
Join our accomplished team at the 32nd Avenue Building within the Medical-Surgical department. In this role, you will become an integral part of a unit dedicated to patient safety and comfort. You will provide direct care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Nurse Manager, or Department Director, contributing directly to the mission and goals of Essentia Health.
Your day will involve providing personal hygiene care, assisting with nutritional needs, and offering comfort care. You will be responsible for safely transferring patients, taking vital signs, and maintaining accurate recordkeeping. A key part of your role is recognizing and promptly reporting changes in patient condition to the RN. You will work within a safe, clean environment to promote the healing process, ensuring compliance with Joint Commission standards and other federal, state, and local regulations.
