Our Healthcare & Medical Services team operates within a supportive, community-oriented environment where every member plays a crucial role in fostering patient well-being and driving meaningful health outcomes.
As a Nurse Assistant, you will be the backbone of direct patient care, working closely under the supervision of licensed nursing staff to ensure every patient feels safe, respected, and cared for. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in a collaborative setting and are passionate about making a tangible difference in the lives of others.
In your day-to-day, you will provide essential support through bathing, grooming, toileting, and feeding, while also assisting patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning using safe handling techniques. You will act as a vital link in the care chain by measuring and recording vital signs, monitoring intake and output, and promptly reporting any changes in patient status to the nursing team. Beyond clinical tasks, you will support the workflow by assisting with admissions, patient transport, discharges, specimen collection, and equipment setup, all while maintaining strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
ECHN offers a culture that values professional growth, providing opportunities for you to develop your skills and advance your career while contributing to the hospital's mission of excellence in patient care.
