This position serves as a vital support in delivering routine patient care, ensuring services are performed within the legal scope of practice and established standards of care. You will act as a bridge between clinical expertise and patient comfort, using sound judgment and developed skills to support the patient's plan of care based on their diagnosis.
In this role, you will integrate technical competence with strong patient interaction skills to gain the confidence and cooperation of patients, their families, and fellow healthcare providers. Your day-to-day involves managing hazardous drugs in accordance with NIOSH and USP 800 guidelines, adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations to ensure privacy and safety. You will work both independently and as part of a dynamic team, prioritizing assignments and resolving standard problems to meet deadlines in an environment that may include interruptions and rotating weekend shifts.
