This position serves as a vital coordinator of patient care, operating within a collaborative health care team philosophy. The role is designed to ensure seamless delivery of nursing services by bridging clinical execution with administrative oversight. You will be responsible for orchestrating the patient journey, from initial care planning and teaching to discharge coordination, while maintaining alignment with ancillary departments and hospital-wide standards.
As a key member of the unit, you will foster a culture of safety and professional excellence. Your day involves directing nursing functions, making strategic assignments based on staff skill levels, and guiding personnel through problem-solving to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Beyond direct care, you will champion infection-control protocols, manage medication administration, and cultivate a supportive environment that promotes growth and job satisfaction for the nursing team.
Candidates must hold a current Registered Nurse license for the state of practice and a valid BLS certification. A graduate of an accredited nursing program is required. While previous experience in general duty nursing is preferred, it is not mandatory for consideration.
We are committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment for both patients and staff. Our organization adheres to all federal, state, and local requirements, including TJC standards, and values diversity in our workforce. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background and strive to uphold the Vision, Mission, and Values of the organization in every interaction.
