This position serves as a vital coordinator of patient care, operating within a collaborative healthcare team philosophy. The role is designed to ensure the seamless delivery of nursing services by planning, organizing, and directing patient care functions on the unit. Beyond direct clinical duties, the Nurse Manager or designee oversees patient teaching, discharge planning, and the coordination of activities with ancillary departments to maintain high standards of care and hospital operations.

The physical setting involves prolonged periods of standing, walking, or sitting, and may include exposure to unpleasant sights, odors, hazardous chemicals, or infectious agents. Universal precautions are strictly enforced, with personal protective equipment provided for all interactions involving blood or body fluids.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and hold a current Registered Nurse license for the state of practice, along with a current BLS certification. While previous experience in general duty nursing is preferred, it is not required for consideration.
