About the Role
This position operates within a collaborative model involving residents, fellows, attendings, and staff to care for outpatient clinic patients. Working under the supervision of the Medical Director or an approved staff physician, you will partner with Primary Care Providers (PCPs), staff nurses, and discharge coordinators to plan, implement, and evaluate medical and nursing care.
In this role, you assume responsibility for primary and urgent medical management, including the emergency stabilization of critically ill patients. Beyond clinical care, the position is integral to the organization's educational mission, involving the teaching of residents and medical students, staff development, patient education, and discharge planning. You will utilize approved medical practices to deliver care appropriate to the specific ages and needs of the patient population, maintaining an attitude of inquiry toward medical practices and patient care outcomes.
