Join our Magnet-designated trauma center as a Surgery Nurse Manager. This role is designed for leaders who thrive under pressure and love navigating chaos with quick thinking and decisive action. You will model our core leadership competencies, including professionalism, adaptability, and independent judgment, while driving employee engagement and retention.
In this position, you will be accountable for the development, implementation, and evaluation of care on patient care units, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals for Patient Centered Care. You will collaborate with nursing leadership to identify areas for improvement in practice policies and processes, working alongside a multidisciplinary team to exceed customer expectations in a healing environment. While the focus is on leadership, you will maintain clinical competencies and may occasionally be counted in staffing to support the unit's needs.
We believe in work/life balance and are dedicated to finding new ways to improve. As part of the Kansas City region's premiere provider of health services, you will join a team of exceptional professionals committed to excellence.
