About the Role

We are seeking an Armed Nuclear Security Professional to provide physical protection for nuclear power generating facilities against intrusion and acts of sabotage. In this role, you will be a vital part of our security force, conducting stationary guarding as well as foot and vehicle patrols both interior and exterior to the plant.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include controlling access and egress for personnel, materials, and vehicles, while monitoring CCTV, plant surveillance equipment, and alarm systems. You will also compose reports, deter criminal activity, and address misconduct or safety violations. The position requires identifying safety and fire hazards, reporting deficiencies, and taking appropriate corrective actions as directed by supervision.

Hiring Process & Application

Candidates must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, all applicants must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements vary by state and local regulations and may be required prior to employment.

The role involves working scheduled twelve-hour shifts. The projected start date for this position is May 11, 2026.
