About the Role

The Naval Postgraduate School Field Laboratory (NPSFL) Operations Lead serves as the primary authority for operations at McMillan Airfield and associated field sites. This role is critical to enabling safe, compliant, and effective use of controlled ground, air, and electromagnetic spectrum environments. You will support Joint Interagency Field Experimentation (JIFX), unmanned systems (UxS) research, networking experiments, and other spectrum-dependent projects for students, faculty, and partner organizations. Working within a holistic approach to life-cycle maritime defense systems, you will ensure mission readiness by coordinating complex logistics and safety activities across military, civilian, and academic partners.
