The Night Auditor serves as the vital link between the day's operations and the hotel's financial integrity. In this non-exempt position, you will ensure the prompt and efficient balancing of the day's transactions while safeguarding guests and assets through strict adherence to safety and security policies. Beyond financial duties, you are the face of the front office during the overnight hours, responsible for courteous check-ins and check-outs, meeting guest needs, and managing the smooth operation of all standard front office procedures.
You will work the 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM shift, operating in an indoor environment that may experience variable temperatures and noise levels. The role requires standing and walking for lengthy periods and the ability to lift or move objects up to 20 pounds occasionally. You will utilize various equipment, including computers, credit card authorization machines, and two-way radios, while navigating complex information to solve problems and handle guest concerns effectively.
Candidates should possess a High School diploma or equivalent, with 1 to 2 years of experience in a hotel or related field preferred. A valid driver's license is required.
