About the Role

This position is based at our Clive, Iowa location and operates on an overnight shift. You will be the backbone of our night operations, ensuring the hotel runs smoothly while guests rest. Your day-to-day involves completing critical end-of-day activities, such as posting charges to accounts, running night audit backups, and rolling the date. You will process all payment types, including room charges, cash, checks, and credit cards, while handling adjustments, paid-outs, and correction vouchers.

Beyond the numbers, you are the first point of contact for our overnight guests. You will operate the telephone switchboard, process wake-up calls, and advise guests of messages. You'll also handle guest check-ins, assign rooms, and activate or reissue room keys. In the event of an emergency, you will print contingency lists to maintain a record of all guests. Additionally, you will sell rooms to walk-in guests without reservations based on availability and ensure your work area is stocked, clean, and ready for the morning team.
