Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida is a state-of-the-art, family-centered pediatric hospital dedicated to providing exceptional care to our youngest patients. Our Level III NICU offers advanced neonatal care, specializing in treating premature and medically complex infants. The Rehabilitation Services team is one of the largest and most dynamic in the region, comprising over 700 skilled professionals dedicated to helping patients regain strength, mobility, and independence. Our licensed physical, occupational, and speech therapists work closely with medical teams to create individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.

As a NICU Occupational Therapist, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team focused on neurodevelopmental support, feeding therapy, and sensory integration to help our tiniest patients thrive. In this role, you will examine, evaluate, and test individuals with mechanical, physiological, and developmental impairments to determine diagnoses, prognoses, and plans of treatment intervention. You will design, implement, and modify treatment interventions to alleviate impairments and functional limitations, while also working to reduce the risk of injury and promote fitness and wellness.
Success in this position requires critical thinking, effective communication, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to learning. You will be expected to conduct yourself in an effective professional manner, utilizing constructive feedback and managing stress while maintaining a focus on clinical excellence. Due to the acuity of this role, new graduates are not eligible for consideration.
