About the Team
New Product Operations (NPO) is pivotal to the dynamic development and launch of Apple's products. We are a team of driven, organized, and detail-oriented individuals who excel in program management. As a leader within Worldwide Operations, you will serve as the primary operations interface to the core product development team and Module Engineering team. You will lead the team through relationships and influence, thriving in an ambiguous environment and displaying grace under fire.
About the Role
As an NPO Manager, you will be a natural leader and facilitator who communicates with ease at all levels. You will own the program, ensuring the successful launch of the product towards meeting its stated Cost, Quality, Schedule, Availability, and Customer Experience goals. Your day will involve planning and executing all development builds and rapid ramps of new products, coordinating various Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing Process & Quality engineering, and CMs to ensure readiness at OEM sites. You will drive a systematic phase-gate approach to NPI development, managing materials, equipment, fixtures, training, documentation, and supply chain plans. Success requires constantly assessing risk, looking around the corner, and driving process and quality improvements to enhance yield and equipment efficiency.
