As a New Grad RN Resident, you will join our Neurological unit to provide direct bedside care and conduct comprehensive neurologic assessments. This role is designed to bridge the gap between academic preparation and clinical practice, offering a structured residency program that includes mentorship, skills labs, and ongoing professional development. You will work under the guidance of experienced preceptors to administer medications, support complex treatments, and respond to emergencies while recognizing and escalating changes in neurologic status.
Applicants must hold an active RN license in Texas or be eligible for multistate compact licensure. Candidates should have completed an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred) and possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is preferred or must be obtained within a set timeframe.
