About the Role
The HCA Healthcare Residency Program at Del Sol Medical Center is a year-long, paid initiative designed to shepherd new graduates through the transition from student nurse to registered nurse. This program provides a supportive community of nurse educators, experienced nurses, and fellow residents to foster learning, clinical application, and professional socialization.\n As a Resident I Graduate Nurse, you will be surrounded by a culture that prioritizes your development. You will engage in advanced clinical training within a specialty area, participate in monthly educational sessions, and complete preceptorship training with a facility preceptor. The role involves working collaboratively on an evidence-based practice project and receiving mentoring from experienced nurse leaders. The program utilizes hands-on simulations to measure and evaluate your skills, ensuring you are equipped with the tools necessary to succeed in today's hospital environment.

Requirements
- verifiedAssociate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program
- verifiedRegistered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
- verifiedBasic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment
- verifiedAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment
