The HCA Healthcare Residency Program at Del Sol Medical Center is a year-long initiative designed to shepherd new graduates through the transition from student nurse to registered nurse. This paid program provides a supportive community of nurse educators, experienced nurses, and fellow residents to foster learning, clinical application, and professional socialization.\n As a Resident I Graduate Nurse, you will be surrounded by a culture that prioritizes your development. The program equips you with the tools necessary to succeed in today's hospital environment through advanced clinical training in a specialty area, monthly educational sessions, preceptorship training, and hands-on simulations. You will work collaboratively on evidence-based practice projects while receiving mentoring from experienced nurse leaders.
In this role, you will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care consistent with the scope and standards of practice. You will serve as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, striving to anticipate needs and resolve them proactively. Your work will involve assessing patient conditions, performing procedures and medication administration, and translating complex medical terminology to ensure complete understanding for patients and their families.
