How You'll Make an Impact
In this Neurology role, you will provide comprehensive medical services to patients in an assigned area, utilizing appropriate diagnostic and treatment skills to evaluate and treat conditions. You will coordinate discharge planning with case management and accept patient referrals from other physicians. Depending on patient needs and hospital requirements, you will act as an admitting, attending, and/or consulting physician for those requiring hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses.
Your impact extends to improving the cost-effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients. You will participate in academic programs, including medical education and research, as requested. Additionally, you will manage documentation to meet insurance company requirements and timely appeal all denials. The role involves participating in both inpatient and outpatient consultations for the specialty, which may include on-call schedules.
