As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, playing a vital role in maintaining a positive environment for both patients and staff. This position functions as a liaison between the patient and the clinical team, requiring you to coordinate care through close communication with nurses, providers, and case managers.
You will thrive in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking and critical thinking are essential. Your day will involve managing office operations, from greeting visitors and directing them to the appropriate staff to ensuring waiting areas remain neat and clean. You will handle the check-in process, capturing patient information in our electronic systems, verifying insurance, and collecting payments. Beyond administrative duties, you will build rapport with patients through respectful communication and good assessment skills, ensuring their needs are met with sensitivity and efficiency.
