Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurointerventionalist Physician to join our Neuroendovascular Surgery Department. This role offers a unique opportunity to partner with a dedicated team to provide high-level medical services to patients in a Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) and Medically Underserved Area/Population (MUA/P).
As a key member of the medical staff, you will serve as an admitting, attending, and/or consulting physician. You will evaluate and treat patients using advanced diagnostic and therapeutic skills, while actively participating in efforts to improve cost-effectiveness and the quality of care. Your day will involve managing patient referrals, participating in academic programs such as medical education and research, and handling necessary documentation and insurance appeals. You will also engage in inpatient and outpatient consultations, which may include on-call schedules.
