About the Role

Ascension Saint Thomas Medical Partners is adding a full-time OB/GYN physician to our growing practice in Murfreesboro, TN. This opportunity is located in a Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) and/or Medically Underserved Area/Population (MUA/P), offering a chance to make a significant impact in a community with high need.

About the Facility

You will practice at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital, a 407-bed regional referral center featuring a modern facility built in 2010 and a newly renovated 16-operating room suite. The hospital is centrally located in the fastest-growing county in Tennessee on a beautiful 68-acre campus along the bustling "Medical Center Parkway" corridor, with convenient access to dining and shopping. The campus is currently undergoing a $110M expansion project, which includes the addition of 36 new high-acuity beds, a dedicated parking garage, 18 new critical care unit beds, six additional NICU bassinets, and 17 new post-surgery bays. The hospital is well-known in the community for its women's services and well-established heart surgery program.

The facility maintains an established partnership with the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) for training medical residents in specialties including internal medicine, family medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, and general surgery.
