Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. As the world's leading mission capability integrator and transformative enterprise IT provider, we deliver trusted, highly differentiated solutions and technologies to protect our nation and allies. We operate at the critical nexus between traditional and nontraditional threats across all domains: land, sea, space, air, and cyberspace. Our employees serve as valued partners to essential government agencies and support every branch of the U.S. armed forces, solving the most daunting challenges our customers face every day.
Peraton delivers mission-critical network infrastructure solutions in support of the Department of Energy (DOE), ensuring the secure, reliable, and high-performance connectivity that underpins DOE's classified and unclassified operations across the enterprise. As a Senior Network Engineer on the CBOSS 2.0 program, you will serve as a recognized Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for the design, deployment, optimization, and sustainment of large-scale network environments supporting DOE mission objectives in Washington, DC.
In this role, you will apply deep technical expertise across Juniper and Cisco platforms to solve complex networking challenges and drive continuous improvement. You will collaborate with government stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, secure network solutions. Your day-to-day involves consulting with DOE leadership and executives to align complex network solutions with mission goals, while also mentoring less-experienced network engineers to foster knowledge transfer and team capability development.
The application period for this role is estimated to be 30 days from the posting date, though this timeline may be adjusted based on business needs and candidate availability. By applying, you express interest in the role and the Company. During the review process, you may be required to participate in an on-camera interview and a process to verify your identity.
