We are seeking a Level 2 Network Engineer to join a fast-paced Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment. In this position, you will serve as a critical link in our incident resolution and escalation support chain, managing a diverse multi-client network landscape. Your primary mission is to ensure high availability and performance for enterprise and mid-market clients by troubleshooting complex routing, switching, VPN, and WAN issues.
You will work within a 24x7 operational framework, collaborating directly with customers during outages and coordinating with major vendors like Cisco TAC, Juniper JTAC, and VMware support. Beyond technical execution, you will play a key role in continuous improvement by maintaining detailed documentation, contributing to Problem Management, and recommending automation strategies to enhance our monitoring capabilities.
Your work will span deep-dive technical analysis and clear customer communication. You will manage incidents from detection to resolution, adhering to strict SLAs while participating in Major Incident bridge calls when critical issues arise. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to executing standard changes, assisting with implementations, and ensuring all activities follow ITIL v4 practices.
You will act as the technical face of our team for our clients, providing timely status updates and fostering trust during challenging situations. Additionally, you will be expected to mentor team members and share your analytical mindset to help elevate the overall capability of the group.
