JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract (J-Tech II). About the Role
As a Network Engineer, you will serve as a lead technical coordinator, architect, and subject matter expert for the Range Communications Network (RCN). This role is critical to modernizing a large-scale, industrial network environment that supports complex defense operations. You will bridge the gap between high-level architectural design and physical implementation, ensuring the RCN remains robust, secure, and capable of supporting advanced DoD Suite A/B encryption environments.
In this position, you will act as the primary escalation point for Tier 3/4 network anomalies, guiding the resolution of service-impacting issues that exceed the capabilities of standard operators. Your day-to-day involves collaborating with program management, customers, and technical working groups to define system requirements, verify designs, and ensure technical solutions align with strict schedule and budget constraints. You will also drive innovation by analyzing complex network problems and proposing data-driven architectural alternatives.
