About the Role

As a Network Administrator within the Agency Administration division in Richland County, you will serve as the main point of contact for contracted network infrastructure vendors. You will be responsible for designing, installing, implementing, and maintaining all layers of network infrastructures statewide, including LAN, wireless access, cabling, switches, and routers for voice and data networks.

Your day-to-day impact involves providing support and maintenance for local area networks at county sites, monitoring agency switches, and assisting program or county locations with office relocations, renovations, and infrastructure improvements. You will collaborate with Internal Operations to manage moves, additions, and changes to data and voice network equipment, ensuring seamless project management and planning for agency site infrastructure updates. Additionally, you will maintain records of infrastructure equipment, update floor plans, and establish standards for reporting and resolving technical problems.
