Reporting under the limited supervision of the AVP Network Infrastructure, this role is critical to maintaining the reliability, performance, and security of the Credit Union's computer systems and networking equipment. Your work ensures corporate productivity and safeguards the systems used to serve our members.
In this position, you will evaluate new technologies to drive efficiency, productivity, and compliance. You will act as a key contributor to various project teams, managing time and productivity to ensure projects stay within time and cost constraints while maintaining effective communication with project managers and stakeholders. You will also represent the Credit Union in a positive professional manner, handling sensitive member information with strict confidentiality.

The base pay offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. For Alaska, the pay scale ranges from a minimum of $44.13/hr to a maximum of $66.20/hr.

2+ years of experience in network management and 5+ years of overall experience in the IT field. Working knowledge of SD-WAN devices (Silverpeak preferred), Cisco switching and routing, VPN and Firewall devices (Cisco ASA and Fortinet preferred), and wireless access points and VPN devices (Meraki preferred). Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues, absorb and retain information quickly, and present ideas in user-friendly language to non-technical staff. Cisco CCNA or Microsoft MCSE certification.
