The State of Wisconsin is seeking a .NET Web Developer II to join the Division of Employment and Training (DWD). In this role, you will serve as an integral member of self-directed work teams, focusing on the development and support of critical priority applications. Your work will drive high-priority development projects, encompassing application design, third-party software integration, data conversion, and the creation or modification of existing codebases.
This position is fully remote but strictly requires candidates to be Wisconsin residents; no relocation is permitted. The role operates within DWD's standard working hours of 7:45 AM to 4:30 PM Central Time. Contractors must remain available online to meet workload requirements and attend all scheduled meetings during these hours. DWD reserves the right to modify this remote arrangement with reasonable advance notice.
Candidates selected for interviews will participate in Teams meetings with cameras enabled. A specific requirement for this hiring cycle is that candidates must upload real-time screenshot photos of themselves to their bid upon confirming the interview. The State of Wisconsin maintains strict standards for credential accuracy. All service providers or candidates submitting inconsistencies or falsifications in their credentials will be immediately disqualified, and the Department of Administration (DOA) Purchasing division will be notified.
This is a contract position scheduled to run through June 30, 2027, with the potential for extension.
