This position provides comprehensive medical care and treatment to patients, serving as a vital link in the healthcare continuum. The role exists to ensure high-quality patient outcomes through accurate diagnosis, effective treatment planning, and compassionate communication with patients and their families.
In this role, you will conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnose medical conditions, developing and implementing treatment plans in strict accordance with established protocols. Your day involves ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests to guide care, while continuously monitoring patient progress and adjusting strategies as necessary. A significant portion of your time is dedicated to communicating with patients and their families to provide essential education and support, alongside maintaining accurate medical records and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.
Additionally, you will contribute to the academic mission by participating in the training and education of medical students, residents, and fellows. You will stay current with the latest medical advancements and research to ensure the delivery of the best possible care.
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree and be a graduate of an approved Fellowship program if applicable. Board Certification or eligibility in Pediatrics is required, along with an unrestricted Medical License in the State of Ohio. Prior clinical practice experience may be required depending on the specific needs of the division.
