About the Role

The Multilingual Learner (MLL) Teacher serves as a vital guide for our MLL students, ensuring they receive high-quality instruction that meets both academic and language acquisition standards. This role is deeply collaborative, requiring the teacher to work closely with the school-based Individual Needs Coordinator, the Director and Associate Director of Individual Needs, as well as teachers and leaders across the network.\n In this position, you will co-teach with English and History teachers while providing essential support and feedback to content teachers on Sheltered English Instruction (SEI) strategies. Your day-to-day involves creating a positive environment where students observe our core values, designing assessments to measure progress, and using data to refine curriculum and instructional practices. Beyond the classroom, you will manage case files, attend IEP meetings for English Learners, and engage families in their children's education. Success in this role requires resilience, a focus on student learning, and a commitment to continual professional growth through active participation in department and faculty meetings.

Hiring Process
