About the Role
We are seeking a Multi-Media Journalist to join our ranks as the next great storyteller. This role is designed for someone passionate about news who can seamlessly transition between covering breaking news stories and crafting in-depth feature stories. The ideal candidate will be creative, flexible, and ready to innovate on both television and digital channels.
In this position, you will develop enterprise story ideas that go beyond standard press releases, bringing multiple actionable concepts to daily editorial meetings. You will be responsible for turning these ideas into compelling narratives, utilizing your skills to shoot, write, and edit your own pieces. Depending on the assignment, you will work either independently or alongside a photographer. Your day will also involve delivering engaging live reports, particularly during breaking news situations, and publishing content to engage with our audience across social and digital platforms. Additionally, you will work to develop long-form, promotable content that drives viewership and build strong sources within the community by listening to what interests our viewers.
