We are seeking a News Production Director/Trainer to join our Production team and coordinate the overall look and presentation of our newscasts. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between technical operations and creative execution. You will be responsible for guiding new team members on timing, shot selection, and clean execution within a live control room environment.
In this position, you will not only manage the real-time flow of the broadcast but also serve as a go-to resource for control room troubleshooting and workflow optimization. You will identify and resolve technical issues involving automation, switchers, graphics, and playback systems, collaborating closely with engineering to improve system reliability. Your ability to effectively communicate with producers and production crew will be essential to facilitate all production elements in a rapid, fast-paced setting.
