The MSS Associate Member Services Representative is an entry-level position designed to perform routine member service through telephone and digital delivery channels. You will be responsible for providing exemplary support by responding to inquiries regarding account services, new deposit account origination, card services, and digital channel assistance.
In this role, you will actively participate in direct service to the membership, ensuring a positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times. You will work closely with a mentor and the MSS coaching team to strengthen your proficiency in member service delivery. As you develop a strong understanding of the organization's goals and philosophy, you will be expected to make recommendations consistent with those objectives.
You will also gain knowledge of basic Financial Advisory and Real Estate Services, including insurance, retirement planning, investment services, trust, and mortgage services, allowing you to provide quality referrals to members. Success in this role requires maintaining a current and comprehensive knowledge of credit union products and services to educate members effectively.
Candidates selected for this position will attend "Excel and Elevate" (E&E), our comprehensive New Employee Training program. A condition of employment includes completing the Credit Union's Core Module Program within 12 months of the hire date. You will also participate in ongoing training and continuing education to maintain high standards in soft skills and call quality.

This role is based in an office setting with physical proximity to other employees and members. The environment includes background noise from colleagues, printers, telephones, and coin machines. The position requires a substantial amount of sitting, along with the ability to use hands and fingers for keyboard entry, telephone keypad operation, and lifting 10-15 pounds.
