As a Radiology MR Scan Technologist at the UCHealth Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO, you will perform magnetic resonance imaging in strict accordance with the organization's scope, standards, and mission. This onsite role is critical to our radiology department, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging for patients in a fast-paced environment.
In this position, you will manage the entire imaging workflow, from reviewing patient history and physician orders to scheduling and educating patients on procedures. You will prepare and administer contrast media when ordered, continuously monitoring patient conditions and responding to changes in status. Your expertise will be essential in selecting appropriate exposure factors, implementing safety standards, and performing quality control procedures. You will position patients, execute imaging procedures, and analyze results to identify and resolve any image quality issues, ensuring accurate reporting and transmission of scan results. Success in this role requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to operate with minimal supervision.
