Lap of Love is dedicated to providing compassionate end-of-life care for pets in the comfort of their own homes. Our mission is to support families through the most difficult moments of their pet's life journey, ensuring that every goodbye is peaceful, dignified, and centered on the family's needs. We foster a collaborative, mission-driven culture that prioritizes empathy, work-life balance, and continuous learning for our veterinary team.
As a Mobile Veterinarian, you will serve as a vital link between veterinary medicine and family-centered care. This field-based role is designed for a compassionate professional who thrives in a flexible, independent environment. You will conduct quality-of-life assessments, guide families through difficult end-of-life decisions, and administer sedation and euthanasia medications with precision and grace.
Your day will involve driving to client homes to provide hospice and euthanasia services for dogs and cats. Beyond clinical duties, you will educate and support families before, during, and after visits, offering empathy and professionalism when it is needed most. You will collaborate closely with our support and teleadvice teams to ensure a seamless experience for every client, while managing your own schedule and territory effectively.
Candidates with strong small animal clinical experience and a passion for family-centered end-of-life care are encouraged to apply. The selection process focuses on identifying individuals who align with our core values of compassion and excellence in palliative care.
Lap of Love is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are dedicated to creating a supportive environment for our veterinarians and the families we serve.
