Lap of Love is dedicated to providing compassionate in-home hospice and euthanasia services for companion animals. Our mission is to support families through the most difficult moments of their pets' lives, ensuring that every animal receives a peaceful, dignified farewell in the comfort of their own home.
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will serve as a vital link between medical expertise and emotional support. This mobile role goes beyond clinical duties; you will guide families through end-of-life decisions with empathy, clear communication, and genuine care. Your day will involve conducting thorough medical assessments, creating comfort-focused care plans, and managing pain to maximize quality of life. You will perform peaceful, dignified in-home euthanasias following our strict protocols while documenting records accurately and collaborating with care coordinators to optimize the client experience.
You will join a collaborative, mission-driven team that values compassion and professionalism above all. This position offers meaningful, flexible work that allows you to make a tangible difference in the lives of pets and their owners. While the role requires on-call rotations and flexible scheduling to meet client needs, it is designed for those who find deep fulfillment in palliative and hospice veterinary care.
Interested candidates should submit their application with a cover letter highlighting their experience in small animal practice and their passion for end-of-life care. Selected applicants will proceed through a review of credentials, followed by an interview to discuss clinical philosophy and fit with our team values.
Lap of Love is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, race, religion, gender, or any other protected status.
