Lap of Love is dedicated to providing compassionate in-home hospice, euthanasia, and end-of-life care for dogs and cats. Our mission is to support families through their most difficult moments by offering a peaceful, dignified experience for their beloved companions within the comfort of their own homes.
As a Mobile Veterinarian, you will serve as a vital link between veterinary medicine and emotional support. This field-based role requires you to travel to families' homes to perform gentle quality-of-life assessments and create comfort-focused care plans. You will guide pet parents through end-of-life decisions with empathy and clarity, providing peaceful euthanasia when appropriate.
Your day will involve a blend of clinical expertise and deep human connection. Beyond medical procedures, you will counsel families, offering emotional support during profound transitions. You will work collaboratively with our remote administrative, support, and teleadvice teams to ensure seamless client care, allowing you to focus entirely on the patient and the family.
Join a mission-driven, collaborative culture that values compassion above all. We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs and provide opportunities for ongoing learning. Our team is committed to making a profound difference every day, ensuring that both the animals and their families receive the highest standard of care.
Interested candidates should submit their application with a valid DVM/VMD license in their state of practice. We look for professionals who demonstrate a genuine passion for hospice and palliative care.
Lap of Love is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and applicants.
