Lap of Love seeks a compassionate Mobile Veterinarian to provide in-home hospice, euthanasia, and end-of-life care for companion animals. In this field-based role, you'll travel to families' homes to perform quality-of-life assessments, develop comfort-focused care plans, manage pain and symptoms, and deliver peaceful, dignified euthanasia when needed.
Supported by a dedicated administrative and teleadvice team, you'll focus on medicine and client care, not logistics. You will partner with families during their most difficult moments, educating and counseling them on prognosis, pain management, and end-of-life options with empathy and clarity. This position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to make a profound impact every day.
Our culture emphasizes empathy, collaboration, work–life balance, and continuous learning. We are a mission-driven, family-centered organization dedicated to honoring the bond between pets and their people. We believe in advancing hospice and palliative care skills through ongoing training and case discussions, ensuring every team member grows alongside the families we serve.
