About the Role
Lap of Love is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to provide in-home hospice and euthanasia services for companion animals. This role exists to help families navigate some of their most meaningful moments with their pets, offering a collaborative, mission-driven environment that values empathy, dignity, and high clinical standards.
In this position, you will deliver peaceful, compassionate end-of-life care directly in the pet's home. Your day will involve performing quality-of-life assessments, creating individualized palliative care plans, and administering medications and sedation in accordance with medical and ethical standards. Beyond clinical duties, you will support families through clear communication, emotional guidance, and aftercare coordination, ensuring they feel supported during difficult decisions.
