About the Role
Fleet Services is currently hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to keep fleets moving. In this role, you will perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance (PM), and follow-up repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile field environment. You will handle advanced diagnostics and repairs under the supervision of a Senior Mobile Diesel Technician, continuing to learn advanced mechanical skills and diagnostic techniques.
Your day will involve independently managing your schedule and parts inventory while operating a company-issued service truck. You will document all work, findings, and parts used via a proprietary TRAIT application on a company-issued iOS device. Success in this position requires high-level performance metrics, effective communication with clients to resolve their needs, and strict adherence to organizational safety, health, and environmental policies, including OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.

Candidates must be at least 21 years old due to interstate operating authority commerce regulations. All candidates must successfully complete a DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and a DOT physical (or submit a valid DOT medical card with more than four months of validity) prior to employment. Key Responsibilities

- check_circleCommunicate with management to obtain approvals on repair estimates and retrieve purchase order numbers

Requirements
- verifiedHigh School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field (or 5 years' experience without diploma)
- verifiedPossess a set of hand tools
- verifiedObtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months
- verifiedPass DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical
- verifiedCurrent and valid DOT medical card
- verifiedAt least 21 years old
- verifiedValid state-of-residence driver's license
- verifiedAuthorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
