We are currently seeking a Mechanic to join our team in Anchorage, Alaska. This is a full-time night shift position (4 PM – 1 AM) offering a competitive pay package with a $3.00/hour shift differential. The role focuses on providing maintenance for heavy-duty equipment, including tractors, trailers, freight moving equipment, and product transfer systems. You will work both in the shop and utilizing a mobile service truck.
This position is designed for those with a mechanical inclination who thrive in a fast-paced, safety-sensitive environment. You will be responsible for performing general preventative maintenance, such as fluid changes and greasing, while ensuring shop cleanliness and safe work practices. As an entry-level opportunity, on-the-job training is provided, though formal education is encouraged. You will learn to utilize our M&R software and develop skills in diagnostics, repairs, and major component swaps.
