About the Role
As an MLT / Medical Technologist, you will serve as a vital partner in our diagnostic workflow, performing both routine and complex testing across hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and blood bank. This role exists to ensure the precision and timeliness of laboratory data, which forms the foundation for effective diagnosis and treatment plans. You will not only conduct testing but also maintain and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers, ensuring operational continuity and adherence to strict quality and safety standards.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with a diverse clinical team, including physicians and nurses, to address critical results and support seamless patient care. Your day will involve documenting and reporting test data via the Laboratory Information System (LIS), participating in process improvement initiatives, and engaging in continuing education to maintain competency.
