About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Midwife to join the Certified Nurse Midwife team at Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital. This Locum Tenens position offers a unique opportunity to provide full-scope midwifery care within a Level III NICU facility. The role is designed to support patients throughout their journey, from labor and delivery to postpartum recovery and well-woman gynecologic exams.
In this position, you will manage intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage patients while providing essential first assist duties. The role includes participation in 12-hour or 24-hour in-house call coverage, ensuring comprehensive support for the hospital's obstetric needs. You will work alongside 24-hour in-house OB/GYN support and utilize the Epic EMR system to deliver high-quality care.
Location and Logistics
This assignment is based in Arlington, TX, with a start date of November 9, 2026, and an end date of February 8, 2027. The position covers a duration of 13 weeks, requiring a schedule of 3–7 shifts per month. To facilitate your travel, the client fully covers travel accommodations, including airfare, lodging, and rental car or mileage reimbursement.

Candidates must hold an active Texas Medical License and an active Texas DEA. Board certification is required, along with a minimum of two years of full-scope midwifery experience and two years of recent first assist experience within the past two years.
